All dairy products are also banned for the entire duration of the cleansing diet. Any dieter undergoing the cleansing diet is required to drink a minimum of 12 servings of the cleanser lemonade. The lemonade can easily be mixed at home with lemon or lime juice, cayenne pepper, high-grade maple syrup and ionized or purified water.
It´s an absolute must to stick to drinking the 12 servings of the lemonade mix, which is one lemonade serving every two hours. Should additional feelings of hunger set in, it is allowed according to the Master Cleanse instructions, to increase the number of servings and drink more lemonade mix. The average weight loss when performing this diet is between five to ten pounds, although some users report much higher numbers.

Issue No 1. Hard to control hunger pangs.

I you feel hungry; just drink some more of the lemonade mix. You don´t have to wait for the two-hour mark to drink another lemonade. And you don’t have to worry about the calorie intake. It´s actually quite difficult to exceed the recommended calories by drinking large amounts of the special lemonade, so feel free to indulge if you feel it helps you reduce your cravings for solid food.
Issue No 2. Saltwater flush not working properly.
The saltwater flush or cleanse is a vital component of the detox and weight loss diet. If it´s not working properly, and you don´t see immediate results, you probably need to adjust the parameters or levels of the sea salt solution. Increase the volume of the water or reduce the amount of salt. The minimum volume of water is just over a quart, or exactly one liter. The amount of salt should be two teaspoons or one tablespoon. Make sure to use non-iodized sea salt. The saltwater cleanse works best when using warm water and must be done on an empty stomach.
Issue No 3. Diet feels too hard and unrealistic.
The sudden disappearance of solid food on a daily basis can be hard to cope with and may cause some people feel close to giving up on the diet. However, if you feel the monotony of the diet is too hard to bare, you are allowed to eat a tablespoon of extra maple syrup or peanut butter.
Try to remain in control of your food cravings, drink more of the lemonade mix or as just explained additional maple syrup or some peanut butter. Do not over-eat and consume a whole jar of peanut butter no matter how hungry you may feel. It´s just not worth it and you will have a hard time getting back on track with your diet and weight loss, detox and health efforts.
Not every Master Cleanse review will be unanimous in praise of this special diet, but most of them are very positive and reveals real results of weight loss, more energy and generally improved health with the dieters.
