Elegant Strawberry Smoothie

• One cup of crushed ice or ice cubes
• Two tablespoons of organic honey
• Half cup of skim milk
• Half cup of yogurt (strawberry flavored)
• One and a half cups of frozen strawberries
• One large banana
Steps:
To begin this recipe, slice the strawberries into one-inch pieces, and freeze them for a few hours. When the strawberries are frosty, and you are ready to start on your smoothie, slice the banana into small pieces as well. Add the solid ingredients of the recipe first (one cup of crushed ice, sliced banana, and sliced, frozen strawberries).
After combining the solid ingredients, spoon two tablespoons of organic honey on top. Pour in half a cup of skim milk and a half a cup of strawberry-flavored yogurt or vanilla-flavored yogurt (if you can’t find a strawberry-flavored one).
Set your food processor to its highest setting, and then puree your ingredients for three to four minutes. After a minute, you should be able to see all your ingredients are being blended nicely and, after four minutes, your Elegant Strawberry Smoothie will be ready to serve.
Feel free to sprinkle a little bit of cinnamon on top after pouring. The cinnamon will add more depth to the flavor. Serve and enjoy your Elegant Strawberry Smoothie!

The Power Berry Mix
Ingredients:
• Half a cup of blueberries
• Half a cup of strawberries
• Half a cup of raspberries
• One cup of whole milk
• One cup of crushed ice
• Three tablespoons of powdered whole milk
• One tablespoon of honey or refined sugar if honey is not available
Steps:
Slice the blueberries, strawberries, and raspberries, then freeze them for two to three hours. Remember: even small fruit needs to be cut before being pureeing. Add all of the berries in your food processor together with one cup of crushed ice.
Pour one cup of whole milk, and follow up with three tablespoons of powdered whole milk and one tablespoon of honey. Use honey in your smoothies whenever possible, because organic honey is sweeter, more flavorful, and is generally less harmful to the body than refined sugar. Puree until smooth and serve. Fast Strawberry Smoothie

Ingredients:
• One cup of strawberries
• One cup of crushed ice
• Half cup of milk
• Half cup of vanilla-flavored yogurt
Steps:
Simply combine all of the ingredients in your food processor and puree until the consistency becomes fine. Pour and consume immediately (or place in the freezer for a few minutes for that extra blast of chilliness!). Feel free to garnish the smoothie with fresh strawberries, or a dash of powdered cinnamon, for more flavor.
