Great Spa Recipes for Kids

Beauty / Natural Beauty

Let’s face it – we want our kids to be pampered all the time. Now you can do exactly that by making unique spa beauty products at home. The great thing about all-natural spa products is that they’re safe for the skin because you won’t be adding synthetic preservatives to your homemade spa products. Healing Face Mask

Face masks are a prime pick for people who have irritated and dry skin – especially if the face mask contains potent ingredients such as aloe vera. The Healing Face Mask combines the power of French green clay, white clay, and aloe vera.

This is one face mask recipe that you will not regret trying! For this recipe, you will need four drops of lime oil, 2 tsps. of lemon juice, 2 tbsps. of French green clay, 2 tbsps. of freshly cut aloe vera pulp, and 1 tbsp. of white clay.

To make the face mask, first mix the French green clay and the white clay or kaolin in a non-reactive bowl. When the two have been mixed well, add the rest of the ingredients. Use your fingertips to combine the clays. When all of the ingredients have been integrated well into the clay, feel free to apply directly to the face.

Leave the Healing Face Mask on for half an hour (at the very least) before rinsing off. If you want to create a larger volume of Healing Face Mask for daily use, remember to place the finished product in a covered glass container, and refrigerate it. Refrigerated Healing Face Mask mixtures can be stored for a whole month.

Fruity Moisturizer and Scrub

Moisturizing your skin is just as important as cleansing it regularly with clean water and hypoallergenic soap. Our Fruity Moisturizer will get the job done in the most natural and fragrant way possible! For this recipe, you will need 1 ½ cups of freshly blended strawberries, 1/3 cup of fresh honey, 1/3 cup of coarse sea salt, 3 tbsps. of extra virgin olive oil, and 1/3 cup of cream. Simply combine all of the ingredients in a bowl, and use a spatula to mix the ingredients well.

Once you get a good color, let the mixture set in the refrigerator for thirty minutes before using. If you want extra antibacterial action, simply add more honey. For more natural exfoliating power, add more salt. The beauty of making spa products at home is you can adjust the measurement of certain ingredients, so you will end up with a mixture that you will really like. People have different needs and sometimes, a person just needs a bit more of something in order to be truly happy when it’s time apply a spa product.

TIP: You can also make larger amounts and more products to give to family and friends, OR earn some extra income and work from home producing and selling your own homemade DIY spa products.
