Recipe 1 – Cream Cheese Tartlets

Let’s start with the most basic recipe – Cream Cheese Tartlets.

For this recipe, you will need half a cup of Swiss cheese (make sure it’s shredded first), a quarter tsp. of thyme, half a cup of green onions (chopped), a can of mushrooms, a cup of flour, half a stick of regular butter (salted), and 113 grams of cream cheese (opt for the light variant).

Begin this recipe by adding the cream cheese and butter in the stainless mixing bowl. Mix these two ingredients for just one minute. Add the flour, and mix again for sixty seconds. The speed setting should be on “2” while mixing the flour and “4” while mixing the butter and light cream cheese. Using a spatula, remove the resulting mix and form a round dough ball.

You will be able to form at least twenty tartlet pieces from this dough. Cook the remaining ingredients in a hot pan with some olive oil. You will know that your mushrooms are done when the onions are tender and moist. When the mushrooms are cooked, mix an egg and a dash of flour. The speed setting at this point should be “6”.

Mix the egg for half a minute. Add the cooked mushrooms with thyme and onions. Add the shredded cheese to the mix, but this time just use your spatula to mix it in.

Get your tartlets and place a small amount of the new mix on top of the prepared dough pieces. Bake the tartlets for eighteen minutes until the tartlets are cooked through. The temperature for the oven should be no higher than 375 degrees Fahrenheit.

Recipe 2 – Spicy-Sweet BBQ Sauce

The second recipe that we would like to share with you is the Spicy-Sweet BBQ Sauce. The Spicy-Sweet BBQ Sauce can be used for chicken, beef, pork, and even fish if you like your fish nice and tangy!

The basic ingredients for this sauce includes a quarter cup of natural brown sugar, a dash of black pepper, one cup of tomato sauce, 1 ½ tbsp. of yellow mustard, 1 ½ tbsp. of apple cider vinegar, 3 tbsp. of Worcestershire sauce, and a quarter cup of red onions. This recipe is very easy indeed – all you have to do is to place all the ingredients in the stainless steel mixing bowl that comes with every KitchenAid Artisan standing kitchen mixer. Place the speed setting at “6” for about sixty seconds.

Once all the mixing is done, heat a pan and add about three tablespoons of olive oil. When the pan is moderately hot, add the resulting mixture and lower the flame. The sauce has to be cooked for no less than twenty minutes, and the temperature of the pan has to be low as well.
