What is Reiki Healing Music?

Health / Alternative Natural Healing

Reiki is often called “spiritual detoxification” or “spiritual cleansing” because it helps restore balance in all aspects of a person’s life. So, it’s not just your body that reiki heals naturally through ki: your mind and emotions are also restored to their normal, healthy states.

Reiki healing music is one of the more well-known elements of a reiki session. A reiki session is often done in a private office, or reiki clinic. There is usually a flat, massage table in the middle of a reiki clinic where the client can lie down.

Music is one of the fastest and most effective ways to access the subconscious mind. This is the main reason why reiki practitioners use different types of healing/relaxing musical pieces during a reiki session. The music is not only relaxing, but it also facilitates the healing process by clearing away mental and emotional fog in the person who is receiving the ki.

When you undergo reiki healing for the first time, you will probably notice cyclical music being played in the reiki office/clinic. If the music bothers you and it disrupts the calm flow being created by the reiki practitioner, you can ask the practitioner to turn it off. He will more than understand why you asked to turn off the music. There are times when people prefer complete silence during a reiki session.

Reiki Music Hypnosis?

Now, some people have asked us about self-hypnosis and reiki healing music. Are reiki practitioners consciously hypnotizing people? The answer is no, because reiki practitioners are more concerned with efficiently channeling ki than with applying hypnotic techniques.

The relaxing music that you hear during a reiki session can cause hypnosis but only if the person receiving reiki really focuses on the music. Focusing on any type of stimulus for a long time can cause self-hypnosis.

Does hypnosis affect the effectiveness of reiki? Yes. Self-hypnosis can help improve the effectiveness of reiki by deepening the relaxation effect of this method.

When a person experiences self-hypnosis during a reiki healing session, the mind does not wander and, therefore, he can really focus on receiving ki from the practitioner or master. So, when you attend a reiki healing session for the first time, it is best to focus solely on the reiki.

Focus on the sensations that you will experience during a reiki session, as these will enrich your overall experience. A reiki clinic/office is designed to keep out the noise and hubbub of life. Maximize your stay during a reiki session.

And most of all, you have to find enjoyment and peace when you receive reiki… Leave all your worries and doubts at the door, because if you doubt what is being done, you will not receive the full benefits of reiki. As much as we are capable of receiving ki, we are also capable of blocking ki unconsciously if we are not spiritually prepared to receive energy healing.
