Reiki Emotional Healing – Restore Emotional Balance

Mastering Reiki Emotional Healing

Health / Alternative Natural Healing

Modern societal norms dictate that it is perfectly reasonable for a person to spend more than half his lifetime earning his keep. It is also “reasonable” for people to use tobacco and alcohol, because we have natural free will and we are entitled to these activities as adults.

If we spend so much time, energy, and resources on these societal norms, then why shouldn’t we spend more time healing ourselves and recovering from the deep-seated emotional injuries that we have sustained through the years?

If you believe that, to a certain degree, your emotional wellbeing is affecting the quality of your life, today marks the end of your search for the perfect way to restore balance to your emotions.

Reiki healing, or simply, reiki, is a Japanese healing art that use natural, universal energy to restore balance the body, mind, and emotions. Reiki has been used for decades to improve the quality of life of countless individuals who are suffering from a variety of physical, mental, and emotional issues.

In today’s discussion, we are going to focus on how you can use reiki to restore balance to your emotions. Healing our emotions is so important, because our emotions affect the quality of our social relations and also how we think and act. It affects everything that we do, and how we do things.

There are two ways to heal your emotions through reiki: find a reiki practitioner or reiki master in your area, or learn reiki yourself. A reiki practitioner is someone who has undergone First Degree and Second Degree reiki training.

A reiki master has done both and has also completed the strict requirements of Third Degree reiki training – the highest training available for all reiki practitioners. Deep-seated emotional issues are usually addressed in several separate sessions.

The second option is to perform reiki self-healing. Either option is viable, and will produce results. Below is a simplified self-healing process for emotional issues. Completing all of the steps constitutes one reiki self-healing session. Repeat as many times as needed.

It helps greatly if you attend at least one reiki healing session, so you can ask the practitioner or reiki master for an attunement ceremony. Attunement is the process of spiritually connecting you to the Source.

Emotional Reiki Therapy and Attunement

1.    Begin the reiki self-healing by drawing the First and Second Symbols of Reiki (Cho Ku Rei & Sei Hei Ki). Learn how to draw these symbols by referring to a reliable online magazine or journal on reiki healing.

2.    Visualize the emotional problem you are having at the moment. Now freeze the image in your mind and change all the colors to gray.

3.    When the image has been grayed out, change the circumstances being projected in the image so that the image begins to show the alternative outcome that you would like to happen.

4.    Keep this image at the center of your mind and let it sear into your memory, replacing the old image.

5.    Create two or three positive affirmations based on the modifications you have made.

6.    Say these affirmations quietly to yourself as you hold your hands over your forehead. Channel ki directly into the third eye chakra. Now place your hands on your heart chakra and channel energy there. Continue channeling throughout the chakras and throughout your body as needed. Linger over each part of your body for a minute or two, and experience the healing that reiki brings.
